Hi Murat,

I can see the option now.

I've done several tests and it works just as I want to. Great!!!

Thank you very much

Hi Murat,

I work with the spanish version and I do not see anything on the view menu that
mentions a hierarchy of pages. Perhaps it is an option of an extension that I
have not installed.

Thanks

I’m not sure if I’m missing a point here, but why don’t you switch the panel to
show the hierarchy?
Not sure what the English Menu is named, but try View menu --> Path panel -->
page hierarchy.

Murat

Re: [Zim-wiki] How to clear history?

2015-01-28 Thread SERES
Hi Jaap,

When I started using Zim, I thought that the main function of the index panel
was to reflect the hierarchy of pages. But now I see that the main objective of
the index panel is to reflect the history of accesses (it reflects the
hierarchy of pages in a secondary or at least mixed way). >From this point of
view, I don't know if it is more practical to preserve or remove references to
the deleted pages from history.

Anyway, what I'd like is a panel that shows the current hierarchy of pages
unrelated to the history of accesses. I asked to clean the whole story because
I thought that doing so, would show the current hierarchy of pages on the index
panel, but now I think that it would show an empty index panel.

I've been using Zim for a while and I can say that I like more every day.

(Sorry for my bad English)

Thanks

I believe it would more conform to user expectations for the history to
automatically be cleared for those pages that have been deleted.

Hi Seres,

This is intentional, deleted pages are still part of the history. You can
skip through them.

What you are asking is to remove deleted pages from the history, not to
delete the whole history, correct?

Jaap

I noticed that too, but don't delete pages often enough - and do navigate
through a variety of pages quickly enough - for that 'feature' to be much
of a nuisance.

Have you tried rebuilding the index?
