I feared this would happen if John went to Canada. Marc and his family
have eaten John and his daughter Cannibals!!! Had they only gone to
Alaska via Seattle, the only harm that would have befallen them would
have been a tour of the outside of Microsoft's campus, and..., uh,
oh, I guess
I don't think they do, but I could be wrong. I haven't been a big pop drinker
since the days of Orange Crush, Hires Root Beer, and -- when I was in 10th grade
in California, cherry Coke, which didn't exist in Canada at the time. It was the
most popular drink at our high school.

Here's an update. Thursday evening around 19:30 - 20:00 we finally saw them. They
were actually on schedule, but had missed the Edmonton Bypass exit from Highway 2
and ended up in downtown Edmonton, totally and hopelessly lost, until John finally
stopped at a gas station and got a city street map.
