[Zope] Stored Procedures Versus ZSQL Methods

2009-02-17 Thread Remy Pinsonnault
Hello,
We have a Zope application with thousands of Z SQL methods connected to an
Oracle Database.

Our DBA want us to develop our new applications using stored procedures
called through external methods, instead of using directly Z SQL methods,
for performance issues and memory usage.

Do stored procedures will allow better performance?

Thanks in advance

Thanks Martijn for your answer.

I tried fsdump but it did not work I got a FileStorageFormatError...

Is there any other way I can obtain the needed paramater (position) for the
truncate function where the CorruptedDataError occured?

Another question, is there a way of extracting all data or transaction
between two dates?

We tried to use the fsrecover.py utility but it gives us the following error

Now is there anybody that knows how we could restore our data.fs because we
