[Zope-dev] Removing ZopeUndo from ZODB, starting with ZODB 3.9
I swear I remember discussing this a while back but I can't find an email trail I'm going to remove ZopeUndo from ZODB, starting with 3.9. Zope 2 already has a copy (well, an external from a ZODB tag) and if someone needs it to be in a ZEO server for Zope 2 applications, they can make an egg for it and include the egg in the ZEO server. Good luck :-) I know a little something about the hard work involved in recovering subversion repos, in the last year we had TWO cases of corrupted revisions in an svn repo we were managing. It had something to do with concurrent commits and the fact that we were running apache-mpm-worker (instead of prefork). FWIW, the setup we have for svn.plone.org may be useful for others as well: we have two servers (svn.plone.org and svn-mirror.plone.org) with a svnsync setup to keep the mirror (almost) realtime in sync with the main server. There is an LDAP database which is replicated between the two servers as well which we use for authentication. This setup allows us to swich svn.plone.org to the other server in minutes if it dies, without any loss of data. [Zope-dev] z3c.autoinclude doesn't include extra_requires
Hi, when I include an egg with extras (like gocept.foo[server]) the dependencies from the extra are not automatically included with autoinclude. I'm posting this here, because there is no other obvious place (no project for this on lauchpad).
