I tried briefly to make the package used Twisted installed as an egg, but
was unable to find a version of Twsited that was both backward-compatible
with 2.0.5 (the version pulled in by the svn:externals). Maybe we should
change the ZTK 1.0 builduut to install it as a normal 'devleop' checkout?

It is already gone from ZTK 1.1 and the trunk.

Ah, this is a problem with cyrus-sasl2 2.1.25 on the Mac:
https://trac.macports.org/ticket/34861

The workaround in the ticket helps:
sudo port activate cyrus-sasl2 @2.1.23_3+kerberos

Thanks,

Works fine for me:

bootstrap.py
buildout.cfg

[Zope-dev] ssh access to svn.zope.org not working

2012-06-25 Thread Maurits van Rees

Hi,

I can access svn.zope.org over normal http just fine, but svn+ssh does
not work for me today. This has worked fine until last week.

$ svn ls svn+ssh://svn.zope.org/repos/main/zopetoolkit/doc
svn: E170001: Unable to connect to a repository at URL
'svn+ssh://svn.zope.org/repos/main/zopetoolkit/doc'
svn: E170001: Could not create SASL context: generic failure: No such
file or directory

That is with subversion 1.7. I tried 1.6 too, but this just says "svn:
generic failure".

This is with the ssh key that I use for userid mauritsvanrees. I did
not change anything in my setup recently that I remember.

Anyone else having problems with this?

My recollection is that zope.app.twisted included Twisted because, at the
time, Twisted wasn't installable by setuptools. This changed a long time
ago. zope.app.twisted should just stop trying to include Twisted. In the
unlikely event that it doesn't work with current versions of Twisted, it should
simply be fixed or removed from the ZTK.

Hi Tres,
yesterday I recreate all AFPy's Buildbots:
- updated Buildbot to 0.8.6p1
- updated Python to 2.5.6, 2.6.3, 2.7.6 and 2.3.2
- removed Python 2.4.x and 3.1.x

> Following this one yields a 404 on the afpy.org buildbot.

Hmm, Strange (at first sight, difference in the history). The direct link works:
http://buildbot.afpy.org/ztk1.0dev/waterfall

I will investigate this evening. Sorry for the noise :(.

[Zope-dev] New release of zc.queue

2012-06-25 Thread Malthe Borch
I just committed a bugfix against zc.queue which makes it possible to
slice a composite queue:

https://mail.zope.org/pipermail/checkins/2012-June/061348.html

It previously wasn't possible due to a simple programming mistake. Can
we have a release 1.3.1?
