Thanks for delving into it!

I'll take a look at it some more this evening and see if I can figure
out what's up.

The Zope 2 test failures don't look related to my recent work. They're
most likely cause by Google doing something different. I am currently
working on some major testbrowser refactorings that include removal of
that test, so hopefully this won't be an issue much longer. In the mean
time, running the tests at a lower level (or with -t
'!over_the_wire.txt') will keep the offending test from running.

Thanks. Any tests which call out to an external server need to be shot,
for sure.

Sure.

After glancing at it, it looks like Google behaving differently than
expected. Of course, it's a bad idea to make the tests depend on Google
anyway.

I'll take a look at it some more this evening and see if I can figure
out what's up.

Benji,

This looks somehow tied to the surgery you were doing yesterday on
zope.testbrowser: can you check it out?

This failure appears to be related to a bug in mechanize /
zope.testbrowser, fixed on the zope.testbrowser trunk after 3.4.2:

-
r81431 | benji_york | 2007-11-03 11:03:14 -0400 (Sat, 03 Nov 2007) | 4 lines

Fix bug introduced in 3.4.1 that created incompatible tracebacks in
doctests. This neccesitated adding a patched mechanize to the source
tree; patches have been sent to the mechanize project.

Benji, do you think we could get a 3.4.3 (or 3.5, if that is what is
needed) released to include that fix?
