It is very difficult to provide a solution without knowing the
problem.  What is the error you are seeing?

Join the pkg-zope-developers mailling list and describe your problem
there.  The problem isn't likely to be fixed unless the developers are
aware of it.

You could do this.  Although it may be the quickest way to get
started, it won't contribute towards improved debian packages.

Yes, for now please install from source (3.1rc1). The Debian package
that is there now is both outdated and broken.

Once Zope 3.1 final is out I hope it'll be make it into Debian unstable
soon. There seems to be a good crowd of Debian/Zope3 developers out
there now that are taking care of this.
