 From the Editor:

by Tim DiChiara, Site Editor

As part of our continual effort to meet the information needs of the database community, I'm pleased to announce two new email newsletters we've recently launched on SearchDatabase:

Ask the Database Experts - You've made our Ask the Expert section one of the most popular features on the site. That's not too surprising -- it contains over 1,000 high quality, useful answers to tough questions submitted by you, SearchDatabase.com members. Our new Ask the Experts email newsletter will highlight the most interesting and educational of these answers on topics such as Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, data warehousing, SQL, database design, object databases, relational model fundamentals, and more. To subscribe, login to the site, go the registration page, and check the appropriate box. Of course, it's free!

DB2 Tips - A compilation of DB2 admin and development scripts and tips from SearchDatabase members. Again, go your registration page to subscribe free of charge. Don't forget that you can also submit your own DB2 tips and scripts and become eligible to win a cool prize each month (this month: a $120 global positioning gadget). Hey, we're not looking for a doctoral thesis here. If you've discovered a neat shortcut that saves time or frustration, share it with your fellow DB2 geeks!

Thanks for your continued support, and have a great week.

Cheers, Tim
