One of the most famous vehicles in history, the bus on which Rosa Parks refused to surrender her seat to a white man, has been sold over the 'Net. An unnamed "cultural institution" bid on and bought the bus for $492,000 and plans to preserve it. That's the kind of price you'd expect from a vehicle that offers history as standard equipment. Parks' refusal aboard the Montgomery, Ala. bus in 1955 helped put a movement in drive and carried her into history.
