The U.S. government invited e-mails from the public to opine on the case. And the people have spoken! Some 30,000 messages landed in the federal inbox. Unfortunately, the Department of Justice says about 90% of those missives are pure junk destined for deletion. Some people simply wrote "I hate Microsoft." How pithy! Others sent in porn. How pathetic! Either of those, however, is probably preferable to the 2,800 form letters that were sent. How predictable!
