THE MISSING LINK | A negative reaction to office romance

Before you send that cutie in the next cubicle a flirty e-mail,
remember this: The boss probably won't like it. A survey of more than
600 executives found 76% of them consider office romances
"dangerous." Along with the hugs, kisses and sweet e-mails come
sexual harassment possibilities, job slacking and the disapproval of
co-workers. You may not get the boss' blessing, but he or she isn't
likely to do anything about it. Less than half of the respondents
have policies that ban fishing from the company pier.
