LEAD STORY
LOTUS MUM ON JSP SUPPORT STRATEGY | CRN

Despite Lotus' promise to outline its long-awaited Java Server Pages
strategy at the IBM developerWorks conference this week, it looks
like the wait will go on. According to Lotus executives, no

IBM MEETING SITE OF HURRAHS AND COMPLAINTS | e-Pro Magazine
IBM gave itself a few pats on the back at its annual shareholder
meeting last week, boasting of its dominance in Web services and

appearance to rain on Big Blue's parade.

DEVELOPER FORUM | SearchDomino

Problem post of the day: "I have a view using a date field which I
have been able to setup to display the date as mmm/dd/yyyy by using
the following:

month:=@Select(@Month(InstallDate);"Jan";"Feb";"Mar";"Apr";"May";"Jun";"Jul";"Aug";"Sep";"Oct";"Nov";"Dec");

day:=@Text(@Day(InstallDate));
year:=@Text(@Year(InstallDate));
month + "/" + day + "/" + year

I need the view to be sorted ascending for all 3 values (Month, Day
and Year). I tried a hidden column with an ascending sort but the
year did not sort."

THE MISSING LINK | "Spidey" already being swapped by online pirates

It didn't take long for Spiderman to get tangled in someone else's
Web. The itsy bitsy blockbuster, which opened this past weekend, is
already turning into Internet booty, as pirates armed with cameras
hit the high cinemas. It's just like that "Seinfeld" episode -- flick
filchers simply sneak videocameras into theaters and let the tapes
roll. Pirated copies of "Spiderman" have been weaving their way to
the Internet file trading posts of EDonkey, Kazaa and Morpheus.
Freeloading downloaders might be better off just going to the theater
-- some copies of the film are more than 2 gigabytes.
