Hi Everyone,
As I'm sure you've noticed, these days there aren't as many independent Web sites completely devoted to the technologies that help you maximize your investment in Notes and Domino. Even Lotus' popular Notes.net site and Lotus Developer Network, once bastions for Domino info, has been rolled into IBM's broad new Lotus Developer Domain.
We at SearchDomino feel this puts more responsibility on us to provide you with a clear view of what's happening in the world of Notes and Domino. Sure, we'll feature stories on other IBM technologies, but we still feel our top priority is to provide you with the Domino-specific information you need. However, we can't do this without your help. We're counting on you to keep us on top of the developments that affect you. So if there's a news story you'd like to see, information you can't find or a straight answer nobody seems willing to give, send us an e-mail, and we'll do our best to help. Remember, our door (or inbox) is always open.
Eric
P.S. Don't forget to vote in our poll: Do you like the new Lotus Developer Domain?

Disaster recovery planning is never complete
A disaster recovery plan is never finished. If a plan doesn't change along with the systems it is designed to protect, it runs the risk of being unusable when it is needed most. A look at this Admin2002 session. By Eric Parizo

Open-source developers take stand against WebSphere
Click here for the full story
IBM and Lotus are pushing WebSphere as a natural fit for developing and deploying J2EE applications, but a group of open-source developers has created a free platform to rival WebSphere. IBM believes the free JBoss platform has shortcomings, but open-source supporters are pleading with developers to give it a chance.
