One thing's for sure -- of all the reality shows on television, UKTV Style's Watching Paint Dry has the most gloss. It's also the most realistic; you tune in to watch a different kind of paint dry on an empty wall each day (talk about truth in advertising!). Now the show is available via the Web 24 hours at http://www.uktvstyle.co.uk/WhatsOn/WatchingPaintDry.cfm,, and visitors can vote for their favorite paint. Think of it as American Idol meets Sherwin-Williams meets rampant boredom. Producers got the idea for the show after deciding they'd rather watch paint dry than see another reality TV show -- maybe Hollywood will rip it off with Watching Grass Grow.
