This tip shows two agents you can use to get around this issue. More control of message formatting [Alex Elliott] This application contains a script library that can easily be added to any application to give you more control over the format of your outgoing Lotus Notes/Domino mail messages -- including controlling the value of the 'From' field. Five special characters in DXL [Dallas Gimpel] In Bryce Berry's recent tip Creating hotspot buttons on the fly using DXL, there are some in-line comments/documentation that state, "It's necessary to replace any ampersands in the database title with its HTML equivalent, as DXL can't convert (certain) special characters."
