SirCam is still getting around, one week after it appeared. Security
experts say the virus is high-risk and that now's a good time to
download updates to your antivirus software. If you've gotten a
mysterious message that begins with "Hi! How are you?" and follows
with "I send you this file in order to have your advice," SirCam has
paid you a visit.

A look at an off-the-wall story from the Web...

"Shower power"
An engineer at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst was so
vexed by why a shower curtain billows in when the water is on that he
spent $28,000 on a high-end software package to solve the mystery.
After 50 hours of computer time and 1.5 trillion calculations, he's
determined that the shower pushes the air into a large vortex with a
low-pressure center that literally sucks the curtain in -- something
akin to a hurricane on its side. Great. Now that that mystery is
solved, maybe he could figure out why socks go in the dryer but don't
come out.
