EUROPE IS VIRUS HOTBED, WARNS REPORT | News: vnunet

Europe is the place where malicious code writers flourish, according
to security analysts. A new study shows nearly 60% of viruses are
born there. North America accounts for less than 20%.

PROCOM NAS TO GET MICROSOFT NOD | News: InformationWeek

Microsoft is back in the NAS saddle again thanks to Procom
Technology. Procom's new NetForce 3000 storage will make it to
Microsoft's Hardware Compatibility List this week. If you run
Exchange on network-attached storage (NAS) devices, this should be
good news for you. Microsoft hasn't supported any NAS devices since
last spring. Procom delivers its NetForce 3000 NAS devices with its
Duet storage area network controller attached. Duet can interface
with SANs and run Exchange information through as blocks of data.

HAVING PROBLEMS SENDING E-MAILS LARGER THAN 1MB | Ask the Expert

Dear Ask the Expert,
I am using Outlook 2000 SR-1 on a Windows 2000 workstation. For some
reason, I can't send out big e-mails (> 1 MB). Outlook does not
display any error, but gets stuck indefinitely. Small e-mails are
sent out correctly. I tried to play a little with parameters on the
local area connection, but in vain. Can you help solve this problem?

VIRGIN GETS IN TEXT MESSAGE GAME | The Missing Link

"Is there an airport nearby, or is that just my heart taking off?"
"If I could rearrange the alphabet, I'd put U and I together." These
and other classically cheesy pickup lines are coming to Virgin
Mobile. Richard Branson, playing Cupid this time instead of Phileas
Fogg, will launch a text message flirting service on Valentine's Day.
The idea is to let shy, yet coquettish, customers flirt via anonymous
text messages. Think of it as a faceless, wireless icebreaker. Guys,
if she rolls her eyes and hits "delete," use this one: "Hey, I know
you! You were Miss Newcastle last year!"
