SYNCH TIME IN AN AD FOREST | by Kevin R. Sharp

All servers within an Active Directory automatically synchronize
their time, but it is up to you to synchronize "network" time with
"real" time. You can use the service within Windows 2000 called
Windows Time to keep all windows workstations and servers in
acceptable time synch.

Regarding the topic of login security, it seems to be important that
network accounts with administrative privileges be the same as any
other user account (in our case, firstname.lastname) so as not to
designate it as a special account (such as "networkadmin"). In this
same scenario, is only the actual account name pertinent? From a
hackers perspective, does it matter what we put in the description of
the account or where it's located in the Active Directory?
