Microsoft has a vision of what Web services will do -- a company executive said he sees networks of companies rising as XML Web services protocols make integration easier. Companies in the network will be able to do business together more easily.

She infected her way to fame by giving the world its first C# virus. He hacked his way into notoriety by helping trash the White House Web site. Now, their mutual love of malicious code conquers all. Gigabyte, the 18 year-old Belgian who surprised the world with her virus writing skills, as well as her youth and gender, has found her script kiddie soulmate in 20-year-old Nostalg1c. Think of them as the geek equivalent of Britney and Justin. The two first met a couple of years ago on the Internet (there's a shock!) but decided to upgrade their connection about a month ago. Nostalg1c says his Web site vandalism days are over -- he's content to be Gigabyte's guy.
