Microsoft urges users to patch Commerce Server (IDG News)
If you're running Commerce Server 2000 or 2002 software, get thee to the Microsoft Web site and prepare to patch. The company says the software has four flaws that could hand the keys over to an attacker. Click here for the fix.

MS discloses Media Player security flaws (The Associated Press)
Microsoft reported three security vulnerabilities in its Windows Media Player, versions 6.4, 7.1 and in XP. The most critical flaw can allow an attacker access to the user's system with the ability to add, change or delete data and perform other functions.
