As part of its "Trustworthy Computing" campaign, Microsoft execs are hitting the road to convince customers that "yes, we do care about security." But it seems that whenever you mix the words "Microsoft" and "security," you're certain to get doubt. That was certainly the case when Redmond recently came to Boston.

Web scoops bench in Microsoft case
;)
It's no secret that security issues dog Microsoft. Even the antitrust case isn't immune. The judge's decision was supposed to be made official on Friday at 4:30 p.m. But you could have scooped even the most inside of insiders if you had clicked on the right URL. Someone on the court staff put the judgment online nearly two hours before the gavel fell. That someone evidently wanted to cut out early to beat Beltway traffic. At least one person used a little common sense to find the documents online before the link was released. The court's Web staff is under fire for the sneak preview. After all, Microsoft shares went up after the decision came down, which could amount to insider trading.
