CHANGING THE BOOT DRIVE LETTER IN WIN2000 | by Serdar Yegulalp

One of the many holdovers from the days of DOS in Windows 2000 is
drive lettering. Windows 2000 generally handles drive lettering
automatically and seamlessly, but you may encounter a situation where
you need to change the letter of the boot drive to something other
than its default setting. Because there are many dependencies
throughout the system on the drive letter, this is not a trivial
operation and it can render your system unbootable if you are not
careful.
