THE MISSING LINK
Smile riles French authorities

A teenager in France proved that he's no Jerry Lewis, otherwise French authorities might have thought the 19-year-old computer wiz was funny. He was scheduled for a court hearing on drunk driving charges, and as he waited for his turn at justice, he noticed an unattended computer. The Gallic geek managed to get into the court database, delete his file and add a smiley face in its place. That was the only smile in the building. The court fined him and yanked his driver's license for three months.
