    Is your inbox too full?

E-mail has become an indispensable communication tool for all of us because it's so fast, efficient and cheap. For the same reasons, the volume of e-mail each of us receives can get to be enormous. How do you manage the e-mail newsletters you receive? And what information do you rely on from these newsletters? I'd like to find out.

If you'd like to volunteer to participate in a quick survey on this topic please e-mail me with your name, address and phone number. For your efforts, I'll send you a copy of "Windows XP Professional Security" by Chris Weber and Gary Bahadur.

The information you share will help us manage the content, frequency and subjects we cover in our e-mail newsletters and tips. Thanks in advance!

    Regards,
    April

    >> LinuxWorld: Shock value gone from Microsoft presence
Unix, not Windows, may be Linux's biggest foe when it comes to establishing a foothold inside the enterprise data center. Microsoft, meanwhile, remains public enemy No. 1 at LinuxWorld, but its presence isn't exactly drawing picket protests.
    >> IT pros chafed about Microsoft's handling of summit
This is the year that Microsoft is in charge of its own Management Summit. And IT pros say: don't bet on a great turnout at the Las Vegas event. Why? Let's just say Microsoft could use some help in the planning department.
    >> Spam-weary admins can't wait for Exchange 2003
Microsoft may be adding more spam-fighting features to Exchange 2003. But rather than wait for the upgraded product to come out, many Exchange customers are adding third-party software -- with great success -- on their own.

    Tip of the Week:
Did you know that Windows XP Professional comes with a Web server and an FTP server? In this article, Robert Shahon walks you through installing the FTP server on Windows XP.
