IT'S ANOTHER BSOD | by Serdar Yegulalp

When you get a BSOD, it ain't pretty. The blue screen of death
generally means all operation on the computer stops, you have to
reboot and data is lost. Worse, if you don't know what caused the
BSOD, you'll probably have it happen again, which leads to lost time
and irate users. This tip details the things that could be wrong with
Windows 2000 when you get the BSOD 'KERNEL_DATA_INPUT_ERROR'.

CHANGE YOUR INSTALLATION FOLDER LOCATION | by Rick Cook

For security or other reasons, administrators may change the Windows
2000 target installation folder name or location. This can cause a
problem when configuring a new system or doing a reinstallation,
because the Windows 2000 installation procedure doesn't allow the
administrator to change the name of the installation folder. There

CAN WIN2K LAPTOPS JOIN MULTIPLE DOMAINS? | Ask Jerry Honeycutt

Dear Jerry:
My Windows 2000 Professional laptop is moved between different
branches of my office with their separate domains. My question is:
How can I configure the machine to join each domain without
reconfiguring each time I change location? That is, when the Windows
logon dialog box appears, is there a way I can just pick the right
domain and enter the corresponding username and password?
