The standard edition, recommended for businesses with no more than 5,000 users, will run $699. The enterprise edition will cost $3,999.

Microsoft to 'Spark' SharePoint 2003, Content Manager integration (CRN)

DISCUSSION THREAD
Win2k backup failure
"Eheal6520" writes:
I have a problem backing up my Win2kpro machine. I have it scheduled to back up to a mapped drive (X:) on my server once a week. The problem is that sometime during the backup or verify, the server restarts. This, of course, causes the backup to abort because it can no longer read the backup file. There are no entries in the server event log and the server shuts down unexpectedly. I back up the server to the same drive the night before without problems.

ASK SERDAR YEGULALP
Tracking all the executables on my server
Dear Serdar:
How can I log the execution of a certain set of executables on several Windows 2000 boxes? I am using this to determine the utilization of licenses. Moreover, I am hoping to do this remotely. I guess I'm looking for some type of process log with timing info. Any ideas?

THE MISSING LINK
Blown away -- tornado frowns for armored camera

Sometimes technology is just no match for Ma Nature's meteorological madness. National Geographic, eager to get pictures of a tornado's innards, put a camera in a suit of armor and set it in the path of an approaching storm in South Dakota. Not ready for its close-up, the wild winds took to the camera like Sean Penn took to that shutterbug, only more twisted. National Geographic workers found the camera stuck in the mud nearly 450 feet away -- smashed to bits. They're going to try to process the film, but they're not getting their hopes up.
