For years, doctors and politicians have been trashing video games for making joystickers fat, lazy and in some cases, violent. But researchers in Canada say that some video games are good therapy for people with phobias, and not nearly as costly as the usual therapies. For example, a spider game helped arachnophobes better deal with their creepy-crawlie issues. Can you imagine telling the wife, "Not now honey. I have to play my medicine." Hey, no one believed Dr. Atkins either!
