MS, user differ on details of Exchange 2003 flaw (SearchSecurity.com)
A network administrator who found a flaw in an Exchange Server 2003 component disputes Microsoft's assertion that the flaw occurs only with certain configurations.

Microsoft aims for search on its own terms (CNET)
For its Longhorn project, Microsoft is researching ways to give its operating system search capabilities for a user's local system that mimic Internet searches such as Google. A Microsoft executive said that applications running in the foreground would be automatically scanned for relevant files to bring searches to a user rather than making the user have to do a separate query.
