CHECK THE REGISTRY | by Serdar Yegulalp Many behaviors in Windows can be restricted or modified through the use of administrative policies, resulting in an error message to the user: "This operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this computer. Please contact your system administrator." However, this same message can be generated under conditions that have nothing to do with administrative restrictions. The names associated with their SMTP addresses (which never include microsoft.com as the domain name) include: Microsoft Security Division, Microsoft Security Update, Microsoft Security and so forth.
