ESTABLISHING SECURE AD BOUNDARIES | James Michael Stewart

The outermost security boundary of Windows 2000 and Windows 2003
Active Directory is the forest. Each and every Active Directory

perspective rather than from a domain-level perspective as was done
for Windows NT 4.0 Active Directory.

HOW TO USE NON-MICROSOFT DNS FOR AD | James Michael Stewart

AD relies on DNS for many of its name resolution activities. While

to deploy an AD domain.

AD USER ACCOUNTS LOCKING OUT SIMULTANEOUSLY | Ask Paul Hinsberg

Dear Paul,
Almost all of our AD user accounts get locked out simultaneously
about once a day or more. This seems to occur during high traffic
times such as in the morning, after lunch and at the end of the day,
but it also happens frequently over the weekend. What do you think
could be causing this problem?

A WEEK OF GLOOM AND MYDOOM | Opinion

Sobig.F doesn't look so big now. Last summer, that worm infected
systems worldwide within a matter of days and, in the process, blazed
a path to infamy as the Internet's most virulent e-mail worm. This
week, Mydoom-A eclipsed that record.
