Microsoft holds out antitrust olive branch
[ZDNet]
Microsoft has offered to extend by two years a program in which it licenses its technology to rivals so that their products work better with Windows. British businesses bellyache over 'Ihatework' Web site
[Reuters]
Businesses in the U.K. are not amused with a Web site that Britain's biggest theme park set up as part of a promotion. The site says, "Do you know a friend in need of a great day out -- away from work? Simply e-mail www.ihatework.co.uk to them, and they, too, can get out of the office and have a great day out at Alton Towers."
