The Missing Link

Wales of a deal
[The Register]
Know any Welsh speakers who long to use OpenOffice? Who doesn't? Tell them their "llong" has come in (that's Welsh for "ship"). A company has created Welsh versions of the software package complete with a Welsh spell checker. Given the probability that Welsh is Europe's oldest living language, is there even a word for "software"? Yes -- "meddalwedd." This news brings hope to those waiting for a Gaelic version of Lotus Domino.
