Many IT professionals address Windows security reactively rather than proactively, often because they just don't have the time to plan ahead. To help ease this burden, I'd like to introduce you to a new site that you may or may not have visited already -- SearchWindowsSecurity.com. As the editor of the new site, I'd like to tell you about some brand new additions, including our Fast Guide: XP SP2 security. As a quick overview, the Windows security information you once found on SearchWin2000.com is now available on SearchWindowsSecurity.com. We've taken that library of useful information and added many new tips, articles, features and directory tools. Under Windows 2000 and Windows 2003, you have to hunt and seek on your own through the AD consoles looking through sites, domains and OUs to find a specific GPO.
