Hi, seapiggies (or do we not like to be called that ;-)? ). So, Mike may have been a bit pre-mature committing Chris and I to do a May 13 talk on NumPy - Chris has had something come up, and he was going to be the lead on non-mathematical applications, which, presumably, is what most of you want to hear about. So, to determine if I feel capable of taking the lead, I want to ask you all: what would you want to hear/see in a talk about NumPy (both w.r.t content and level, i.e., introductory, intermediate, or advanced)? I'm going to leave it that open-ended and decide based on your replies whether I think I can fit the bill or not. Feel free to reply off-list if you prefer (but if you do, I suggest cc-ing Chris - [email protected] - as I'm sure he'd find this info interesting/helpful as well). Thanks for your input.
