Well, doing general purpose computation on GPUs is still pretty
bleeding enge, so it's low-level work.

Also -- we're getting more an more cores around, so some simple
multi-processing may be easier and worth it.

But it may be good for some specific processes -- what is it you need
to do fast and large?
