I'm preparing for a talk about gathering application metrics at PyCon Japan in a few weeks: Gathering and visualizing metrics with ZeroMQ, Redis & Graphite "I built a small system to collect, summarize and graph detailed application metrics. The system is simple, reliable and easy to extend.
