i meant the vim plugins for the various IDE's that attempt to add vim behavior.

ie, IdeaVIM for pycharm. using IDE_VIM_PLUGIN_X could be underwhelming
compared to ACTUAL vim. since they are just imitations of actual vim.

sorry. re-reading that, it is very confusing. i should be more
explicit in the future :)
