fyi the vim plugin for pycharm supports both of these features. i'm
still a relatively new vim user, but every time i learn some new vim
command i try it in vim and pycharm, and usually it works in both.
there are some missing features (that i've discovered so far), but
mostly its things that wouldn't make sense in pycharm anyway.
