I use win2k, win98se and redhat with samba together all the time and
have not had a single bad experience. Its a great way to have the best
of linux and windows worlds as you can access files on either os from
the other. It does help to do your homework and read the manual
especially regarding password encryption so that you can get it working
properly. swat is a great tool to use to get it configured. First time
is a bit of a hill climb (lot to learn), but next time through is a
breeze. Have at it.
