Not sure if this will fix it or if only for accepting but I run my sendmail
and I dont' have your problem and my name is homer.netlyncs.com and email is
sent out as [EMAIL PROTECTED] My sendmail.cf only has Cwlocalhost not my
actual domain and below that has Fw/etc/mail/local-host-names. What I did
was add the domain name along with aliases from my network in
/etc/mail/local-host-names file. If your using default sendmail from the
distro then that file should already be created for you and you just need to
edit it and add your domains/aliases and run newaliases and/or restart
sendmail.
