IIRC there's some info in Linux Gazette #45 (www.linuxgazette.com), article
"Mail for the Home Network".
I've no web access nor the article at hand, sorry.

Thanks Michael for the response. I tried all that, but still, I did not get
what I want.
Let me make it a bit more clear this time, i hope:
My linux box has hostname set to "server1.its.com". I have sendmail
installed on it. Now, when a user (e.g.: john) sends out a mail to another
user (e.g.: mary), the user mary would get a mail with the "From:" and
"To:"
lines that read:
From: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
To: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
I would like the two line to actually read:
From: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
To: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Well, I could accomplish that by putting the following 2 lines into the
/etc/sendmail.cf file:
Cw its.com
Dj its.com
Now, my question is, what can write in the sendmail.mc file that will write
the 2 lines automatically to sendamil.cf when I do the command: m4
sendmail.mc > /etc/sendmail.cf ?
Any more ideas?
Thanks and regards,
Vidol
