Seawolf's rpm 4.0.2-8, but the docs are wrong in Rawhide's 4.0.3-69,
too.
I have reopened bug #50197. The rpm docs ought to be fixed.
--recompile is great if you want to build _just_ the binary rpm(s)
and _not_ the source rpm. The docs still pretend that --recompile
would not create any package(s). I must admit, I don't remember when
that was the correct behaviour. Probably around rpm v2 or so.
