One, the 'vi' used on linux is a clone. Either vim or elvis.
If you run 'vi' you chould get a work alike. If you
run the new name, you should get the enhanced version.
Like running 'bash' as 'sh'. Other apps change behavior
based on how they are called, like gzip.
gunzip = gzip -d
gzcat = gzip -dc
but it's only one executable.
For vi/vim you can probably change a config file
so it defaults to vim behavior.
