As an aside, Chris, I have noticed over time that the range of addresses I
can get runs from 4.35.216.X through at least 4.35.219.X. The 4.35.216.X
connections are laboring under a SEVERE condition of bitrot. Even without
the worm attacks it is VERY slow. 4.35.217.x is better. I am on 4.35.218.X
now, unless I was dropped over night, and it is "respectable" for a DSL
connection.
You might explore this if you really use an always on connection. You might
be able to move yourself from port to port and find a route that is not
chronically overloaded or mal-configured.
