Out of curiosity, I checked bugzilla, to see if there were any
reported bugs that sounded like your problem. I found this:

So someone else has the same (or similar) problem. You may want to
track this bug, and see if a resolution gets posted. Also, you may
want to add your own experience as additional comments to this bug
report.
