I' am a newbie to Linux!
I use to NICS:
1. Realtek 8029 10Mbit
2. 3COM 3c905b 10/100MBit
With 1. I want to connect with ADSL (T-DSL, Telekom, Germany)
and with 2. I want to connect to our Win98s in the local network.
My static IP for the local network is 192.168.0.1,
the 1. dns from the provider (Telekom) is 194.25.2.129 .
I'am not able to configure it!
Sometimes I could connect to to DSL, but ping 192.168.0.3
would not worg (Computer unreachable).
How can I find out if eth0 is Realtek or 3COM?
