If copying the CD contents to a local ftp/http server and installing
from there is not an option, create ISO images from the CDs, put
those on a local partition and try to install from harddisc. If that
fails, you can be quite sure that the makers of those CDs have
messed something up.
What does the beginning of the CD directory look like?
