I have two machines, one with a 530GB RAID5 array on a 3ware 6800
controller and one with a 700GB RAID5 array on a 3ware 7810 controller.
There is no other disk present in either machine; all storage is behind the
3ware controllers.

The Red Hat 7.1 installer has no problems with the 6800 card but will bomb
on the machine with the 7810 card saying there are no disks in the system
to format. Even in expert mode, I never even get to choose a module to
try.

Is the 7810 supported at all? (Yes, I checked the HCL, but it doesn't even
list the 6800 as being compatible.) My guess is that I need to tweak a
table of PCI IDs so that the installer will insmod the 3w-xxxx module at
the appropriate time, but I have no idea where this table might be located.
I'm willing to hack about if anyone has any pointers.
