Despite what a handful of Unix integrists can say I strongly advise RedHat 8.0 being shinnier and funnier than present RedHat. If it weren't closed source I would avise Blender but in any case I would like Crystal Space, Open Office, gnucash, new Enlightenment (if already released). There are a few thousands of vocal integrists and a several million of people presently using Windows who could go Linux if we stopped discouraging them through TWM, VI and horrors of the same ilk. Linux present problem is one of image: You are rarely _forced_ to use the command line but instead of saying people that it is a good thing for power users but not mandatory we let MS and our own traditionalist make believe it is mandatory and scare people out of Linux
