Hi,

AFAIK in SuSE Linux [2.4.4] you should use roaring-penguin, because the SuSE
support says, that the 2.4 Kernel doesn't work very good with pppoe. So I
think this advise could be used with Redhat also...
[BTW: The 2.2.x Kernel never made so much trouble with pppoe...]
